This examination allows us to assess the condition of the major salivary glands – sublingual, submandibular and parotid glands, to detect tumours, to diagnose inflammation and to detect blockages and stones in the salivary ducts.
The procedure should be performed on an empty stomach. Drinking immediately before the procedure is not recommended.
